High-Tech Sales Representative
Founded in Davis, California in 2005 with the vision of offering superior network diagnostic, troubleshooting, and management tools to IT Professionals, CACE Technologies, Inc. has since become a leader in the network analysis industry. Our innovative product portfolio includes the AirPcap family of wireless packet capture adapters for Windows, the TurboCap™; full-rate dual-port Gigabit Ethernet capture and injection solution, and CACE Pilot®, a powerful and intuitive network analysis, visualization and reporting tool. CACE also provides support and development for two of the most popular and highly acclaimed open-source networking projects: WinPcap and Wireshark.
Due to our growth and the imminent introduction of new products, we need to increase our sales staff immediately.
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative for our Inside Sales Department. In this position you will identify prospect needs, advise potential customers on product options, and sell solutions to existing customers and warm leads. We will provide training and on-going support to ensure you become a successful member of the CACE sales group. As a Sales Representative, your goal will be to increase our customer base by converting prospects into purchasers of our technology.
Responsibilities
- Make a high volume of outbound sales calls daily to existing leads
- Close sales with a fast turnaround on each lead
- Manage assigned leads and be creative in generating your own
- Maintain relationships with customers and generate referral sales
- Research and generate new leads
- Enter all account information and correspondence into customer relationship management database consistently and accurately
- Pipeline building
- Develop leads, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
- Establish client relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about CACE products
- Accurate recording and projecting of sales opportunities

- Previous sales experience with proven sales success
- Ability to consistently hit sales goals
- Resourceful and flexible; able to adapt to changing priorities and preserve a positive attitude
- Clear and confident communicator - a warm, genuine and professional phone manner
- Effective writing skills
- Has a love for selling and customer service
- Has a strong work ethic and personal integrity
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and all internet applications
- A BA/BS degree
- Able to position a product, target a certain audience, and understand product campaigns
- Advanced time management skills
- Minimum three years successful sales experience and bachelor’s degree
- Ability to internalize product features and benefits, articulate value proposition, overcome objections, and create urgency
- Strong motivation with a tenacious desire to succeed
