Google Principal Engineer to Deliver Keynote at SHARKFEST ‘09
Tuesday, March 24th, 2009CACE Technologies and Wireshark University (WSU), hosts of SHARKFEST ‘09 Developer and User Training Summit for the open source network analyzer Wireshark, today announced that Stephen Stuart, Principal Engineer at Google, will open the third day of the Summit with a keynote address on the recently-announced Measurement Lab (M-Lab). The 2nd annual SHARKFEST, taking place June 16-18, 2009 at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, is an educational event that offers in-depth instruction through 40 sessions over the course of 3 days. Sessions cover network analysis optimization, troubleshooting basics and advanced methods, best practices for wired and wireless security, Wireshark development insight, network forensics case studies, and more.

Vint Cerf at SHARKFEST!
Tuesday, February 19th, 2008We are excited to announce that Dr. Vinton Cerf, PhD, Google Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist will open day 2 of Sharkfest with a talk entitled “Non-discriminatory Network Service.” Dr. Cerf is considered by many to be the father of the Internet. When he’s not giving talks on matters that will affect the Internet for decades to come (such as network neutrality), he works with NASA on the Interplanetary Internet standard.
